The Brookshire Amphitheater is more than just a space—it’s a celebration of community, culture, and, of course, music! Kraftsman had the privilege of working with the Brookshire Economic Development Corporation (EDC) to design and build this amazing venue, bringing the vision of the Zahimen family’s musical legacy to life. Named in honor of the Zahimen family, who shared a deep love for both the city and the gift of music, this 30’ x 40’ wave bandshell amphitheater brings a touch of nostalgia while setting the stage for new memories to be made. The project also includes a custom concrete foundation with 6” thick concrete pad and reinforced rebar under the amphitheater itself, and the 1,774 sq. ft. dance floor. An aluminum above ground enclosure was additionally installed for electrical wiring.
Now, the amphitheater serves as a thriving gathering spot where music and community spirit come alive. Whether it’s a local performance, a summer evening concert, or just a place to enjoy the outdoors, this stage helps keep alive the legacy of bringing people together through music. It’s a beautiful space where old traditions meet new ones, making it the heart of Brookshire’s Downtown Plaza. Here at Kraftsman, we’re incredibly proud of our contribution to this incredible project. It’s ready to welcome residents and visitors alike, offering a space where the community can gather, enjoy, and celebrate together.
