Kraftsman, in collaboration with VLK Architects, designed and installed one of ten playgrounds for Port Neches Groves ISD. The play area features three distinct playgrounds: a Pre-K playground for children ages 2 to 5, a playground for 1st and 2nd graders designed for children ages 5 to 12, and a SPED playground that includes inclusive play equipment like a cozy pod spinner and musical play elements. The play area also offers interactive games such as a GaGa pit, tetherball, and triple toss. To ensure safety, the entire play area is equipped with engineered wood fiber safety surfacing. This project provides a dynamic, inclusive environment for children of all abilities to enjoy active play and social interaction.

Playgrounds and inclusive play are essential for primary schools as they provide students with valuable opportunities for physical activity, social interaction, and cognitive development. Kraftsman was honored to contribute to this project, helping to bring an essential, physically engaging play environment to the intermediate schools of Port Neches Groves ISD.
