Kraftsman collaborated with VLK Architects to design and install one of ten playgrounds for Port Neches Groves ISD. The main playground features a play structure designed for children ages 5 to 12, an active play area with overhead and climbing challenges, a spinner, and a swing set. The independent play area includes a tether ball, triple toss, and a 26′ gaga pit. The inclusive play area is equipped with a custom gazebo featuring play panels, musical play elements, and a cozy pod spinner, ensuring that children of all abilities can enjoy and engage in the play experience.
Playgrounds and inclusive play are essential for intermediate schools as they provide students with valuable opportunities for physical activity, social interaction, and cognitive development. Kraftsman was honored to contribute to this project, helping to bring an essential, physically engaging play environment to the intermediate schools of Port Neches Groves ISD.
