Kraftsman worked with the SPARK School Park Program to design and install a playground at Petersen Elementary School in Houston, TX. The school was selected to be part of the SPARK Park Program, an initiative that transforms school playgrounds into community parks, providing access to outdoor recreational spaces for both students and local residents. The program aims to improve public spaces and foster community engagement by making school grounds accessible after school hours and on weekends.
For this project, Kraftsman installed a modern, safe, and engaging playground designed to cater to children of various ages. The playground features interactive play structures, swings, slides, and climbing elements, all designed with safety and durability in mind. The installation also included soft and ADA-compliant engineered wood fiber surfacing to ensure accessibility for all children. This collaboration supports the SPARK Park Program’s mission to enhance educational environments and create lasting community spaces for families to enjoy.
