We had so much fun teaming up with the City of Port Arthur to bring Fun Island Park to life! This playground is like stepping into an adventure out on the high seas, thanks to shipwreck-themed play structures that are perfect for sparking the imaginations of young explorers. With coastal corrosion protection, the play structures are built to withstand the elements while providing slides, climbers, and interactive play panels for tons of fun.

A favorite among children, we also added a 4-bay swing set, featuring an inclusive team swing that allows children of all abilities to enjoy swinging together. The bright, colorful poured-in-place rubber surfacing is not only visually appealing but it’s also designed with a custom theme that ties the whole space together. We didn’t forget about comfort either! You’ll find a seating area with rectangular tables under a custom hip shade, and some traditional benches are scattered around the park to give families a place to relax while watching the kids play. Since opening in October 2023, Fun Island Park has become a favorite destination for families in the Port Arthur area. It’s a fun example of how a little creativity can turn a playground into a place where kids can explore, have fun, and make memories.
